Let It Be Known
It feels as though the song “The Threshing Floor” has resurfaced after more than two years since the Spirit of God first inspired me to write it. But the truth is—it never really left. It has always been there.
And honestly, I find myself returning to the threshing floor again and again.
Yet in this season with the Lord, the message feels even more relevant—especially for the women of God—than it did before.
So why now?
I believe it’s because of the hour we’re living in. We are in a kingdom season marked by concentration, separation, and revelation. God is narrowing our focus. He is refining what belongs in our lives and removing what does not. And He is revealing things we never expected.
What we were once confident we understood is not even close to what God is doing. The expectations we’ve carried aren’t scratching the surface of the exceeding, abundant, above all that God is displaying in this time.
Even the place we thought we would spiritually settle has shifted. It’s as if the Lord has changed our address—and it begins with this truth:
“I’m looking for a city whose builder and maker is God.”
Ruth understood this.
She may have been comfortable in Moab, but her true destination was Bethlehem, Judah.
She may have expected to remain a widow, but God had written a different ending.
Ruth obeyed Naomi and went into the field, gathering handfuls of purpose. She thought she was simply trying to survive. But her obedience positioned her for more than provision—it positioned her for inheritance.
Her heart found Boaz in a field.
And what began as gleaning became ownership.
One of the most beautiful statements Boaz makes about Ruth is this:
“Let it be known that a woman came into the floor.”
And that is my prayer.
May it be said and known about me.
May it be said and known about you
by our Lord and Savior, the Shepherd of the field Himself
THAT WE CAME TO THE THRESHING FLOOR.
Stay there women God. This is where you belong
May he bless you and keep you,
